I spend all day doing what I really enjoy…. playing the guitar and I get paid for it!
What you like to do this for a living?
Now you can! Let us help you.

How would you like to make a living by playing the instrument you really love instead of working for somebody else?
A new website http://www.teachmusic.co.uk will help you to do that very thing. The site is managed by a group of teachers and professional musicians who will help you to set up a teaching practice and then enable you to make money from other musical pursuits such as playing concerts recording and writing books.
The site is fronted by Vic Hyland but involves a number of other professional performers and teachers who will be sharing their knowledge on things musical and business.

We are bringing on board a number of experts in different areas and will be offering a service where you can ask questions to the most vexing problems that you have.
When we started off teaching in our own separate ways many of us had similar experiences. The idea of someone being able or even contemplating a career in music was assumed to be ridiculous and any careers advice was not to even try.
Things have changed dramatically however it has gone to the other extreme where you can go on college courses and learn how to be a musician and get qualifications. However they do not tell you how to make money! How ridiculous is that, 3 years on a course and you do not get any practical information about making a living.
I met an ex pupil a month or so ago who is busy touring the UK and Europe. After having lessons with me he also did a BTec pop music course at a local college. George’s first comment to me was that the business was nothing like he had been told at college. He said that the information was out dated and mostly irrelevant. However all that I had taught him about the street level of marketing and selling was totally relevant to all aspects of what they were doing.

This is simply because the material that we will share with you is to do with selling and the psychology of business which is true to all business situations. This is not theory it is practical proven tried and tested by working musicians so you do not have to reinvent the wheel just use what works.
In the early stages of this site the questions will be answered personally so because of this we will be limiting the numbers to only 150. So you will obviously need to register quickly however once you have registered we will keep the price at that for the rest of you continued membership.
We will however be developing the facilities on the site which will mean that once the site becomes totally interactive we will put up the membership for new clients to cover the extra costs. So get in when its cheap and while you can.
So if you really want a living from teaching and playing then sign up today, and we can keep you updated on developments. Remember the tip of the week is free so just sign on to this e-mail.
Yours
